The new XP coil from Nugget Finder
What does XP stand for? Quite Simply Extra Performance!
The XP coil is a multi-phased DD coil and by selecting a mode (normal or XP) on the coil you will achieve better signal response on desired targets.
Normal Mode- This mode allows the coil to see small to medium sized targets at various depths and give a positive signal response. We suggest this mode when searching where small gold nuggets have been found in the past, and when searching for new patches (Reason: one small piece can identify a new patch) Deeper targets will result in a reverse pitch ground noise type signal in this mode (woo-wee)
XP Mode - This mode allows the operator the deeper alternative; all bigger and deeper targets will achieve a positive signal response. (this will minimise ground noise or mineral type targets). We suggest this mode for deeper ground 16 inches plus. Heavy mineralized soils 10 inches plus, and old patches previously worked by other coils.
When using Minelab GP model detectors, in MONO mode, we suggest the coil be in Normal mode, for better and sharper signal response.
