The Coiltek 14×9″ has always been the long time favorite prospecting searchcoil on all Minelab PI detectors.  The 14×9 will give you great coverage per swing, max depth and still maintain great sensitivity to smaller to mid-sized gold.  This is one of my all-time favorite sized searchcoils for metal detecting for gold.
